Roles and Responsibilities

  • 1. Know the Consumer: Deeply understand customer behaviour, develop new customer insights
  • 2. Know the Customer: Develop a deep and long-standing relationship with the modern trade accounts - to drive relationships from the strategic to the tactical – at all levels:
  • a. Category team
  • b. Supply Chain Team
  • c. DC/Warehouse team
  • d. Other Support functions
  • 3. Own the business: Co-own the P&L, develop the strategy for leveraging the gap areas
  • 4. Know the market: Stay on top of trends and find opportunities
  • 5. Know the competition – Strength and Weaknesses
  • 6. Developing business plan and promotions
  • 7. Oversee on-time order processing and deliveries
  • 8. Maintain and develop daily/weekly/monthly trackers
  • 9. Store visits and consumer interaction – for brand feedback

  • 1. MBA from reputed B-School
  • 2. Should have 2-3 years of post-MBA work experience
